Hot and Sour Soup ( Chinese style )
The famous hot and sour soup is one of the big hit in any Chinese menu. Its a tongue tickling combination of sauteed vegetables in a flavorful mixture of tangy sauces. The sight of the soup itself makes the mouth watery.!!

  1. Mix the corn flour with half cup of water and keep aside.
  2. Take oil in a non stick pan on medium flame, saute garlic and green chillies for a few seconds.
  3. Add carrot, cabbage, spring onions and cauliflower and saute for 2 minutes on a medium flame or until the veggies are slightly tender.
  4. Add vegetable stock, soya sauce, chilli sauce, vinegar, cilantro, salt and pepper. Cook on a medium flame for 2 more minutes while stirring occasionally.
  5. Now combine the corn flour-water mixture and let it cook for another 3 to 4 minutes on a medium flame by stirring occasionally.
  6. Transfer into a serving bowl and serve hot.
